Why do some Christians think Christianity isn't a religion?

Christianith is God reaching out to man by covenants and promises written in the bible.Religion is man's attempt to get to God. That is why there are so many religions. Because man is fallible . God is not. That is why we Christians are so adamant about what we believe. We have accepted God's plan, not man;s plans.
