Why are some weddings hospitable and others not?

Some weddings i have gone to (greek/russian to be exact) are so hospitable. You got like a 5 course meal and bottles of alcohol set right there on the table lol. Appetizers middle of table then comes the kebob w/ rice then chkn & potato then salads then fruits then cake coffee while other weddings the whole table is empty u have to go to the bar AND its one course chken beef and u get up to dance and sit the tables empty lolll...I think that is really not a wedding to satisfy family & guests. What u think?
