Delayed period for 2 weeks then slight bleeding..very confused....?

Ok..so my lmp was on December 18th of 2008. So I was expecting my period to come on January 15(give or take a day)..while I was actually on my honeymoon at the time (which is why i know exactly when it was to come because who in the world wants that on their honeymoon)..well it never came..and never came..started getting symptoms...extremely gy, sore and enlarged bbs, acne(which ive never had), just felt weird. So on the 29th thru 31st of January I had slight bleeding, more so brownish/pinkish in color, but not heavy at all. I have done plenty of research and I just dont understand. HPTs say negative as of today and I just want to know if that slight bleeding could have been implantation or was I just starting a new cycle...AAAH. Has anyone else been here and wound up pregnant? :) Any help is greatly appreciated!
