How long does it take for your natural hair colored roots to come in?

well i just dyed my hair blonde. and im going away for 2 weeks. im going to the rainforest so there isnt going to be away to keep my hair up. so with that said i dont want my roots to show. how long does it usually take until your roots start growing back?
