I can't stand the save the world, save the planet mentality. We're all just one person. We can't do everything?

People are so devoid of spontaneity and so insanely overdomesticated. In a world of 6.4 billion people there should be a fantastically deep safety net so that we don't have to be martyrs and sacrificial lambs who must save the world. Instead there's no system and chaos, especially in this country with our supposedly near limitless resources. The powers that be are morons in this country and always have been. There's never a breakthrough that would allow us to be able to live intuitively rather than counterintuitively.
